Maeve is a Director within our Corporate, M&A and Structuring team, with significant experience in providing astute legal counsel to Irish and International entities. Her expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of corporate law disciplines, with a particular focus on M&A transactions and corporate governance.
Prior to joining EY Law Ireland, she acted as in-house counsel for a global professional services corporation advising on corporate strategy, structuring and governance for the global group.
Her extensive experience includes guiding clients through the intricacies of corporate governance, designing sophisticated corporate frameworks, streamlining corporate entities, and facilitating cross-border expansions and re-organisations. Maeve's dynamic and pragmatic approach to mergers, acquisitions, and shareholder agreements has made her a trusted advisor in the corporate law landscape.
She holds a degree in Corporate Law and Bachelor of Laws degree from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a Masters of Law in International Comparative Private Law from Rijksuniversitat, Groningen in the Netherlands. Having lived and worked in Germany, China and the Netherlands, her international background and experience enriches her perspective, allowing her to navigate the complexities of corporate law with a global outlook.
