Dublin, 10 February 2025: EY Law Ireland has announced that Aoife Gallagher-Watson has been appointed as its new director in employment law in its law department.
Gallagher-Watson, who has over 15 years’ experience, will specialise in employment, work health and safety law.
She has previously held a number of roles across “top-tier law employment teams” across Ireland and Australia, notably serving as a senior associate in A&L Goodbody and William Fry, as well as working as the senior counsel for Ireland for non-bank Humm.
According to EY Law Ireland, she has “worked with a range of clients across regulated and unregulated industries”, which saw her advising on “contentious and non-contentious employment matters”.
Deirdre Malone, head of employment law at EY Law Ireland, said that the firm is “delighted” to welcome Gallagher-Watson to the role.
“Her expertise in the area of employment and workplace health and safety law combined with her client-focused approach will greatly enhance our ability to provide comprehensive and tailored advice to our clients,” she said.
EY Law Ireland added that Gallagher-Watson has extensive experience in advising companies and c-suite executives on “work health and safety obligations, regulatory investigations and prosecutions”.
